Achievement in every field of human endeavor is the motto of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The New Orleans Alumni chapter celebrates and recognizes achievement annually at the Scholarship and Achievement Banquet in April. This is the chapter's public celebration of achievement where brothers and community members are recognized. Most of the awards that follow are announced during this banquet.

Fifty Year Brother
Recognizing and celebration those brothers who have been members of the fraternity for at least 50 years.

Brother of the Year
Voted on by the chapter, this award goes to the brother who has made a significant contribution to the chapter during the fraternal year.

Polemarch's Award
This award(s) is given by the chapter Polemarch at his discretion to recognize contributions to the success of the chapter during the year.

Kappa Scholars
The recognition of undergraduate students who have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and hold an office in a student organization on his campus.

Most Improved GPA
Given to the undergraduate brother enrolled as a full-time student whose semester GPA has improved the most between fall and spring semesters.

Highest GPA
Given to the undergraduate brother who has the highest semester GPA who is enrolled as a full-time student.
