Kappa Day at the Capitol

Category:

Committee Chair:  Brother Keith Pittman and Randy McKee

Kappa Day at the Capitol gives our chapter a powerful platform to engage in civic service and leadership. Alongside brothers from across Louisiana, we meet with state legislators to discuss issues affecting our communities, highlight the fraternity’s impact, and advocate for positive change. The day includes networking opportunities, legislative briefings, and recognition of Kappa Alpha Psi’s longstanding service across the state.

This initiative underscores the importance of political awareness as a cornerstone of achievement. It reminds us that leadership extends beyond social and charitable work—it includes having a voice in shaping laws and policies that directly affect the people we serve.
