In support of the international fraternity's partnership with
St. Jude Children's Hospital, the New Orleans Alumni chapter participates in the
Sunday of Hope program. The Sunday of Hope program was developed by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as a way for members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. to support St. Jude. Sunday of Hope allows churches across the country to unite as a body of believers to help children suffering from cancer, sickle cell and other catastrophic diseases. The chapter has raised over $5,000 for St. Jude by seeking donations from local churches.
